Our Aqualia partner, José Ramón Vázquez Padín, participated in a webinar organized by Fundación Innovación Bankinter. His objective was the dissemination of LIFE RESEAU activities focused on improving efficiency and reducing the environmental impact in wastewater treatment.  

The presentation, “Innovation in the sustainable use of water”, focused on technological innovation as a transformative element for more efficient and sustainable water management. The solutions developed within the project that contribute to this were also approached. Thus, Aqualia’s Business Development Manager carried out an analysis of advanced solutions, such as autotrophic nitrogen removal, granular biomass – used in the pilot in Moaña – and struvite precipitation; and highlighted its impact on the industrial and municipal sectors.  
 
The event, celebrated on November 7th, also addressed national challenges in sustainable water management, offering a comprehensive vision of how technology is key to protecting and maintaining our water resources.
