ITG showcases progress of the LIFE RESEAU project at DCAI 2025

The technology centre ITG in collaboration with Aqualia, both partners of the LIFE RESEAU project consortium, will take part in the upcoming edition of the International Conference on Distributed Computing and Artificial Intelligence (DCAI 2025), to be held from 25 to 27 June in Lille (France).

As part of the special session “Intelligent Systems and Applications (ISA)”, ITG will present a conference paper entitled “Application of AI Models for Predicting Level in Sewerage Networks: A Case Study of a Wastewater Pumping Station”. The paper features a practical case study developed within the framework of the LIFE RESEAU project, focusing on the use of AI models to predict water levels in urban sewerage networks.

The study outlines ITG’s development and implementation of a predictive model based on AI, which uses real-time sensor data alongside historical event records to forecast water levels in a wastewater pumping station up to six hours in advance. This early warning capability enables the implementation of preventive measures that help reduce the risk of overflows and enhance the resilience of urban infrastructure in the face of extreme weather events.

Participation in this conference represents a key opportunity to share the progress of the LIFE RESEAU project with the international scientific community, fostering knowledge exchange and best practices in the field of sustainable urban water management and climate resilience.
